Hi KryptoSeoulers! To celebrate the Korea Blockchain Week, KryptoSeoul and TLDR are co-hosting Korea’s first Women in Blockchain meetup! With Coindesk Korea as our media partner, The Booth Brewing Company and Beyond Blocks are also supporting the event. We are extremely excited to bring together female power in the blockchain & crypto space. Also, it will be a perfect opportunity to learn about the South Korean market and mingle with female players in Korea and abroad!
The event will be held mainly in English, and it is NOT a female-only event.

Topic: The current status and future of cryptoasset industry: from a traditional financial analyst’s perspective
Yeolmae Kim is a leading blockchain industry analyst at Hanwha Investment & Securities. After publishing her report on ‘Blockchain and Digital Economy’ last year, she has been working as an institutional analyst to disseminate the blockchain innovation not only to financial investors but also to people in various sectors. She graduated from Korea University, Department of Architectural Engineering. She has worked as an architectural engineer at Samsung C & T and as a business consultant at NeoPlux. She has been an analyst for industry analysis since 2009. Since 2010, she has been awarded as the best analyst at major media companies such as Maeil Business Newspaper, Korea Economic Daily, Chosun Daily and Thomson Reuters.

Songyi Lee currently serves as an acting advisor for Metadium, a next-generation identity protocol powered by blockchain. As an early adapting entrepreneur with passion for social impact and innovation, Songyi is a strong advocate of the use of blockchain to disrupt the status quo. Prior to Metadium, Songyi had co-founded 37coins, a Silicon Valley startup empowering the world’s unbanked population by providing access to Bitcoin through a decentralized SMS network. She is also a founder of Zentrepreneurs, a mindfulness education for entrepreneurs and businesses to increase productivity and quality of life through modern consciousness training.

발표자: 김열매, 한화증권 애널리스트
김열매 애널리스트는 한화투자증권에서 블록체인을 담당하고 있다. 지난해 ‘블록체인과 디지털 경제’라는 리포트를 발간한 후, 제도권 애널리스트로서 블록체인을 금융권 투자자뿐 아니라 다양한 분야의 사람들에게 전파하기 위해 활동하고 있다. 고려대학교 건축공학과를 졸업하고 삼성물산, 네오플럭스를 거쳐 2009년부터 산업 분석 애널리스트를 해왔다. 2010년부터 매년 매일경제, 한국경제, 조선일보 등 주요 언론사와 톰슨로이터에서 베스트 애널리스트로 선정된 바 있다. 큰 흐름을 짚어내는 능력이 좋다는 평가를 받아왔다.
